# Go Auto Acquires Historic Toyota of Hollywood Dealership

Go Auto recently announced its acquisition of Toyota of Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, effective September 1, 2026. This move adds a significant dealership to Go Auto’s portfolio, as Toyota of Hollywood was established in 1957 as the first Toyota dealership in North America.

The acquisition expands Go Auto’s United States network to eight dealerships, with three now located in California. This strengthens the company’s growing presence in the U.S. market. Across North America, Go Auto now operates 70 dealerships representing 26 automotive brands.

Phil Abram, President of Go Auto, stated that Toyota of Hollywood is a special addition due to its legacy, which traces back to the beginning of Toyota’s history in the United States. He expressed pride in growing the relationship with Toyota and honored to be part of the dealership’s next chapter, welcoming the Toyota of Hollywood team and customers to the Go Auto family. Abram also extended gratitude to Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., and Mike Sullivan for their support during the acquisition process.

Go Auto, recognized as a Deloitte Canada Best Managed Platinum Member, emphasizes delivering value and a positive customer experience, alongside investing in the communities it serves. The company has donated over $27 million to local charities to date.
