# Beaufort Waterfront Halloween Fest Runs Saturday

BEAUFORT, S.C. — Beaufort’s downtown Halloween celebration fills Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park on Saturday, Oct. 17, with free family activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., city organizers say.

Morning slots include games, prizes, crafts, a kids DJ and face painting. Costumes are welcome, and kids may collect candy in the craft-vendor zone after midday. Your Pie plans to sell pizza slices on site.

After the daytime program wraps, the fifth annual Movie Night in the Park gathers from 6 p.m., with Hocus Pocus scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Popcorn, candy and soda are listed as complimentary during the daytime celebration.

The city bills the daytime block as an annual family gathering in the park along the Beaufort River waterfront, and organizers encourage costumes for children who want to join the candy stops.
