Beaufort County – Unique Ford, a 32-year-old man, has turned himself in to law enforcement following a shooting that resulted in the death of 33-year-old Rashaun Snell. Ford faces serious charges including murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and aggravated breach of peace. The shooting occurred on a Sunday evening, just before 8 p.m., on Kelly Road in the Sheldon area.

According to deputies, they responded to multiple reports of a shooting and found Snell’s body at the scene. The initial investigation revealed that an argument had taken place between Snell and Ford shortly before the incident. During the argument, Ford allegedly fired multiple shots at Snell.

After the shooting, Ford attempted to flee the scene in a vehicle but crashed it nearby. He then fled on foot before warrants were issued for his arrest. The following day, Ford voluntarily surrendered to authorities and was subsequently booked into the Beaufort County Detention Center. A bond hearing for Ford is scheduled for Tuesday at 9 a.m.
