The summer festivities kick off with weekly fireworks every Tuesday at HarbourFest from June 3 to August 19. These vibrant displays at Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina are set to illuminate the summer skies, offering a perfect family-friendly outing.

Another engaging initiative is the “Put the Beach to Bed with Sea Turtle Patrol” event on Hilton Head Island, which takes place every Wednesday from June 4 to August 27. This free volunteer event allows participants to contribute to the important job of protecting sea turtles, promoting community involvement and environmental awareness.

Families will enjoy the “Party in the Park + Car Show” slated for June 12 and June 26 at Lowcountry Celebration Park. Running from 6 to 8:30 p.m., attendees can look forward to live music and food trucks, making it a lively evening for all.

On Thursdays, starting June 12 and running through August 21, the “Parrot Palooza” at Shelter Cove Harbour will draw crowds for its live music and kids’ activities at 7 p.m. Additionally, every Friday from June 12 to August 14, the “Sunset Celebrations” at Shelter Cove Towne Centre will invite guests to enjoy local music from 7 to 10 p.m., with beach chairs recommended for comfort.

Live music is also a highlight at Liberty Oak Tree in Harbour Town, with a DJ Alan Family Show on June 6 and June 20, followed by the Rick Hubbard Kids Show occurring on June 13 and June 27, both running from 8 to 9:30 p.m. It’s important to note that a $9 Sea Pines gate fee applies to attend these shows.

In addition, visitors can enjoy “Coligny Summer Music 2025”, featuring daily performances at Coligny Plaza every day from June 1 to August 31, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The community in Bluffton will come alive with the Bluffton Sunset Party on June 13 at Oyster Factory Park, offering food trucks and live music from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Children under 12 can enjoy the festivities for free, making it an inclusive event for families.

Another family-friendly offering is the free “Town of Bluffton Jump into Summer Waterslide Event” on June 21 from 9 a.m. to noon at Oscar Frazier Park, where families can cool off and have fun together.

In downtown Beaufort, the monthly “First Friday: Hot Summer Nights” event will take place on June 6 from 5 to 8 p.m., celebrating local shopping and dining. This event is a great opportunity for residents to support local businesses while enjoying an evening out.

On June 28, the DragonBoat Beaufort Race Day will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park, featuring food vendors and race-themed merchandise for an immersive experience.

The 10th Annual Juneteenth Celebration at Ma Daisy’s Porch on June 14 will host music, vendors, and storytelling from 4 to 10 p.m. The Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park Juneteenth Celebration will run from June 12 to 19, culminating on the 14th, and will offer live music and activities for children. Additionally, the Bluffton Black Food Truck Friday at Commerce Park on June 13 from 5 to 10 p.m. will celebrate with live music and a variety of cuisines.

The summer calendar also features the Lowcountry Pride Celebration on June 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Tanger Outlets Hilton Head, welcoming families to engage in local culture and community spirit.
