Pam was born on May 1, 1959, to Harry and Evelyn Hinkle in Lenoir, where she spent most of her life. As a devoted housewife and loving mother, she dedicated her time to raising her family and nurturing strong relationships with her loved ones. Her son, Ricky E. Phillips, resides in Beaufort, South Carolina and recalls the numerous family gatherings that brought joy and laughter into their lives.

Phillips was known for her warm spirit and kind heart, qualities that made her a favorite at gatherings and events among family and friends. She found great joy in music and was an avid reader, often immersing herself in stories that sparked her imagination. She was preceded in death by her daughter Amanda Phillips, brother Dewayne Hinkle, and her beloved parents, Harry and Evelyn Hinkle. These losses had a profound impact on Pamela, shaping her into the resilient and loving person she became.

In honor of her memory, the family plans to hold a private ceremony at a later date, during which they will spread her ashes in the North Carolina mountains. This location was particularly meaningful to Pam, symbolizing her deep connection to nature and the tranquility it brought to her life.
