The South Carolina Outcast angling club from the Lowcountry region is competing in the Atlantic Division Championship, presented by HUK, which concludes its regular season in Ocean City. The tournament uses a 125 nautical mile boundary, similar to The MidAtlantic tournament.
On Friday, August 21, the first day of the championship, the South Carolina Outcast team released a double white marlin, with Steven Lackey and Dale Lackey securing the releases. This placed them second on the leaderboard by 12:30 PM with 200 points, behind Lights Out Boston. By the end of Day 1, the Outcast maintained their 200 points, holding onto second place.

On Day 2, Lights Out Boston achieved a grand slam, adding 200 bonus points and extending their lead to 1,025 points by 3:00 PM.
